Blue Moon Clone Recipe

Blue Moon Clone Recipe

Blue Moon seems to be available pretty much anywhere you go, whether it’s a supermarket, corner shop or petrol station. It has a universal appeal, It maybe is not that trendy or considered a proper craft beer but it does have a universal appeal for being smooth and drinkable where other beers are more challenging.

Blue Moon is almost certainly a beer that is trying to emulate Hoegaarden another White beer or witbier that has more prestige. It is ironic that they are both now produced by multinational brewing companies.

Blue Moon Belgian White

Blue Moon is a part of the Molson Coors brewing company that include many brands of macro beer. It might seem surprising because the look and taste are predominantly aimed at the craft beer market.

Blue Moon is a witbier or white beer that has a wide appeal because it is not brash, it is smooth and was seen as an entry-point into exploring more unique craft beers. It is not really ironic that as a macro produced beer that it would have such a broad appeal.
